Transitional Diabetes Care

Lucy Casson (Diabetes Nurse Practitioner), Marianne Ghattas (Dietitian) and all our endocrinologists have specific interest and experience in the transition period from Paediatric to Adult care for Type 1 Diabetes. They are all passionate in this field and recognise that this stage in life is challenging. We are happy to accept referrals from 15 years upwards, to help adolescents and young adults navigate the journey from paediatric to adult care. It may be that we work in conjunction with your paediatric team throughout this process to ensure you are well supported.
