Dr Naomi Eastwood-Wilshere is an Endocrinologist, Obstetric Physician, and General Physician. After graduating from Otago University in 2010 with an MbChB and BMedsci(hons), she worked in Wellington New Zealand, before moving to Australia to do basic physician training at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney. She then completed advanced training in Endocrinology at Campbelltown and RPA hospitals then Obstetric Medicine advanced training at the Mater Hospital Brisbane, followed by finishing dual advanced training in General and Acute Care Medicine at Ipswich Hospital, Brisbane. As an Endocrinologist, Naomi can manage all endocrine conditions including diabetes, metabolic syndrome, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary disorders. Given her general and obstetric medicine experience, she can manage patients with other medical comorbidities holistically, including during pregnancy. She has a clinical and research interest in pregnancy endocrinology and both gestational diabetes and pre-existing diabetes in pregnancy.
